Advent Children

one word: TERRIFIC!!

i really think there's no one who can surpass the creators of FF when it comes to CG art... even the Initial D CGs pales somewhat in comparison... from the fighting scenes, to the way cool motorcycle chase between Cloud and the 3 brothers, it's one perfect scene after scene...

though there were some places where i thought it was slightly overdoing it, especially during the fighting scenes... but then again, i have to remind myself that this is not real people acting (no matter how real they look), and the whole story is based on a game in an alternative universe where they can jump as high as they want to...

not gonna go into details... bcos, the only reason why i watched Advent Children was that Cloud looked super kakoi (japanese 101: describing someone that is handsome or cool) in the movie trailers... didn't play the game, and neither did i know much abt the story until a few hours ago... it wouldn't be a good analysis of the movie without understanding the whole story background and the characters...

fav scene: Tifa fighting against one of the brothers... the one with the spiky thing attached to his hand... ahahaha... it's probably the feminist in me, but Tifa kicks butt!! for a character that looks more like a DID (damsel in distress), she really puts in power in her fighting...

after watching Advent Children, i really wondered why did the creators even come out with the FF: the spirits within movie... what a difference...!
