New Year's Eve trailer

Jon Bon Jovi. Josh Duhamel. Michelle Pfeiffer.

3 reasons to watch this movie. and no, the plot really doesn't matter. HA!

Puss in Boots trailer

a spin-off from Shrek, our Mexican cat gets the limelight this time.

in theaters on 04 November 2011.

Usagi Drop trailer

releasing in Japan, 20 Aug.

Your Highness trailer

James Franco. fantasy. comedy. hell yeah!

opens tomorrow in SG.

Animals United trailer

i kid you not.

a movie that has the same name as our self proclaimed group.

official website HERE.

seems like i have quite a lazy big role in it. hahaha.

in SG cinemas 16 June.

Disney Medley (by UMass Amherst Doo Wop Shop A Cappella group)

how many people can figure out all the Disney movies from the songs sang by this amazing group of boys?

7 out of the 8 movies for me. ^_^.``

Something Borrowed

if you ask me to name the one reason why i'm watching this, it's only because of Colin Egglesfield who plays Dex in the movie. i have no idea who he is up until i saw the trailer, but man, he's HOT~

check out the official website here.

in singapore theatres, 12 May.

Taipei manga and DVD loot

just to show what i lugged from KT comics.

it really doesn't look like 52 books does it. heehee.

Gnomeo & Juliet

the greatest love story ever told, garden gnomes style.

in singapore theatres, 3 March.

Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale

predictable storyline, but hilarious to the max.

at least it was not a wasted $14 for a Sunday 3D movie.

official website here. i recommend watching the videos only after watching the movie proper.

need to get myself the OST soon.

BECK live-action movie

from what i've read so far, lots of effort has been put in by each of the main cast, including Mizushima Hiro, Satou Takeru, Mukai Osamu, Kiritani Kenta and Nakamura Aoi. all underwent intensive training so that they can play with actual instruments, and more than 30 original songs will be performed during the movie.

wonder if they would retain the Moon on the Water by Maho from the anime.

here's hoping that there is the slightest bit of chance the movie would touch singapore waters.

HIRO!!!

i will try to ignore the terrible long hair he had in Beck since it's required of his character. thank goodness he got it cut off after the movie. *phew*

Strong World on tudou.com & animecrazy.net

update 26 Jul,

english subs has been uploaded to Animecrazy.net.

this is not the full version yet. only the official DVD/BD release will include the extra scenes i mentioned before.

well, all the more reason to rewatch Strong World again. HA!

posted 17 Jul,

yes, you saw it right.

the Strong World movie has been uploaded to tudou.com!!

chinese subs of course.

the loading is slow as it's a 2-hour long clip, but slowly streaming it right now.

can't wait to feast my eyes on the whole movie.

MU-KYAA!!!!

update @ 1.10am

ok, so the movie was a little draggy towards the middle. either that, or i was too anxious to see the fight scenes.

and the fight scenes were good! Zoro and Sanji both used their best moves. was expecting Luffy to use his signature Bazooka move but he replaced it with a Gear 3 Axe instead.

Odacchi doesn't disappoint!

i wonder whether this movie already includes the extra scenes.

hmm.

Nodame Cantabile The Final Score Part 2

release date has been set for 15 July 2010.

~MOVIE FINALE~

OP Locations Strong World Part 2

after sitting in moo moo's house for 2 weeks, i finally got my set from her during dinner with AU last thursday.

rounding up the remaining crew members in their adventure outfits.

plus beach outfits for Luffy, Nami and Chopper.

here's the whole crew, without the extras.

nice.

more updates on the movie; the official release date has been set for 27 Oct, for both the DVD and Blue-ray version.

and guess what?

there are new scenes added! at the request of Odacchi!!

WOW!

i was still telling moo moo how we can get the regular version on our Japan trip in Oct. but now, i'm really very tempted to get the DVD limited edition, especially since it includes footage from the preview screening and the in-theater guest appearances on the film's opening day.

如何し様??!!

Strong World DVD release

the Strong World DVD has been set for release on 23/07/2010.

sources from Kaizoku Fansubs gave this french link. plus, it has also been listed on the One Piece Wiki page.

so i'm guessing more or less 100% confirmed.

YES!!!

now the only thing left is to find which of the online japanese stores are selling the DVD.

*goes snooping*

after reading through the article again with my less-than-desired japanese skills, i found (plus confirmation from ah gu) that the DVD that is going to be released is in fact NOT the Strong World movie, but instead Episode 0 + the TV specials that aired last November (Ep 426-429) about Little East Blue.

~_~.``

i'm crushed.

goes to show you can't really trust everything you read unless you've double or triple-checked your sources.

*sighs*

i'm depressed now.

~_~.``

update 27/05/2010,

confirmed + reliable sources says that the real movie DVD will be out in late August.

there is still hope yet!

Strong World camera rip

this has been making the rounds in the One Piece Community.

apparently, somebody did a camera rip of the movie, and posted it on youku.com.

NOW, it has made its rounds to animecrazy.net.

if you're really desperate, you can probably go watch this super low quality rip, provided you can actually read chinese subs.

i may be desperate.

but even then, i wouldn't want to watch this rip.

I WANT A HIGH-QUALITY VIDEO!!!

OR THE DVD!!!!

Strong World in Hawaii

the One Piece Film Strong World will be screened during the Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu on April 18 and 20.

dammit!!

a test of patience

that's what the Nodame movie is about.

because there's at least a 3-month wait before anyone in SG will get to watch the grand finale in the 2nd movie!

well, at least the 2nd movie is going to include the Kiyora violin competition. that'll make up for not seeing it in the anime finale. HA!

and, i could recognize at least one voice seiyuu, Fujita Yoshinori, that dubbed for one of the french oboe player in Marlet orchestra. incidentally, he is also the seiyuu for Masumi-chan in the Nodame anime.

Tamaki Hiroshi has also improved his "conducting" skills. it actually looks like he's really conducting a proper orchestra now instead of just flapping his hands around. mwahahaaha!

but me and lydia concluded that he lost a bit of weight since the last time he was in the special. he really needs to put it back on.

*sighs*

3 months.

Nodame Cantabile The Final Score Part 1 Trailer

in anticipation of the movie opening next week.

NEXT THURSDAY!!!

WOHOO!!!

think i'll go re-watch the special just to recap.

MU-KYAA!!!!

Russell

got this from birdy.

a real-life Russell!!

OMG! i don't know who or where he is, but this boy is so cute!!
